I love the Cambridge satchels, and I;ve been wanting one for ages now. Anyhoo, I went on the the website earlier and discovered that there are some new ones. And, there's a new one in the EXACT colour I want! This must be fate, we are meant to meet ;)

look at this beauty:

Oh my, it's beautiful. I think I'm actually just going to buy this...I definitely will not regret this purchase!

What colour would you choose?

Hi everybody!
I'm sorry about the lack of posts, my camera is in need of batteries and I keep forgetting to buy any! silly me
However, I thought I'd share with you what's going on at the moment in my life.

I've recently applied to go to University to do film studies. I love love love films and I love learning about them, but I also don't know what career I could get out of it. So, I'm in a bit of a dilemma...I want to study film, especially at Hull University, because it sounds SO GOOD there, and I want to do a dissertation on Disney films!!....but I have another option.
I'm not sure if I've told you this, but my other favourite thing is cooking. I just love it, and I just light up whenever I cook. I bake more than an 18 year old probably should, but I love making cupcakes and cakes for people. So, here's my other plan:
I've always wanted to be good at making cakes and decorating them like the ones you get from cake shops-all big, and gorgeous and delicious. Hull college do a night class on Tuesdays for 3 and a half hours (or it might be four) and their course is four years long, because it's a really good programme, and they teach you everything and you learn how to make cakes like these:

How nice do they look?!?!

I'd love to be able to make them like that! The good things about choosing this is that with it been a night class, I can get a full time job at the same time, and I'll be able to save money up (maybe buy things :P)...which could hopefully go to me buying my own little shop/bakery, something I've also wanted since I was little.

I'm thinking of making a facebook page for my cupcakes, biscuits, cookies, cakes etc, because a lot of people have said they really like them, and I'd love to make some for family and friend's birthdays.

In a nutshell: I have no idea what to choose and I have a couple of months to choose.
I want both, and I could do both, but I really want a job-I'm sick of being turned down because of college hours preventing me working. urgh!

please give me your thoughts or suggestions because I am well and truly stuck! aha

'I want'

It's a phrase I use so often, and one I'll never stop using. I always see things I want when I go shopping or when I'm 'browsing online', there's always something that really grabs my attention. This week I've found a few things, and seen as though my camera has died on me (well, the batteries), preventing me from uploading my New York posts, I decided I'd share with you some things which I'm considering buying at the moment.

I'm in LOVE with dungaree dresses...I always have been if I'm honest. I really like the checks on this dress, it's a nice, simple design, and it looks quite summery.  I'd definitely wear it, so it's on my list ;)

I love this dress. It's so girly and pretty and it looks delicate, which I like. I love the colour, the style and the pattern...I just love it okay? ;) 'I WANT'!

Clutch-Drop Dead - £30
I've been wanting this for ages, and I can't hold on any longer! It's so cute and it'll fit a fair amount in, so it's perfect for a night out!

Drop dead-£10
They're so cheap, so why not?
Lovely colour, so why not?
and they're palm trees, so again, why not?
Let's just admit they're pretty cool, and that I'm not gonna say no to them. :P

There are some more things, but the more websites I go on, the more I'm finding ahaha!

What's on your wish list?

Caught my eye...

As always, I'm permanently looking for new blogs to follow and for more and more people who inspire me daily with their posts.
Here's a blog I found the other day, and I thought I'd share it with you.
This is such a great blog. I love reading Jenna's posts, they always inspire me, and I just find her life so interesting ahah! You should check her out because she'll no doubt put a smile on your face when you read her posts. I love the detailing she goes into, and I just really appreciate the effort she puts into her blog-you can tell Jenna takes her time to make everything look good and it's nice to see that. :)

Check it out!

New York: Part 2!

Apologies for the delay...these past few days haven't been the best-Bad news and lots of work =/
But I'm finally getting around to the second part of this, so I hope you all enjoy it.

After we'd done Hard rock cafe and indulged in some amazing food, a few of us went to Grand Central Station. It's a really nice place, really grand, and beautiful. All I could think of was the first Gossip Girl episode where Serena comes back to Manhatten and arrives there...amazing, I stood in the spot Blake Lively stood in ahah!
We also tested out the whispering walls..It works!!! If you are unaware of what this is then check this out  It'll make sense then!

Stars 'n' stripes

Our second day in NY was amazing! We went to the Ney York Film Academy, where we were told what students do in each course, how they make films, and awards you can get. It was really good, I enjoyed it; and we had a tour inside the building where we were shown the editing suite-full of Apple Macs aha, and the rooms where they get all of the equipment and props.

A real American diner we spotted on the way to the Film Academy....I really wanted to go in, but we found another one!

En route the the Academy

The sign for the Academy.

After we'd been to the Academy, we headed to the Hot 97 radio station, where we were met by Sam, a really cool guy...seriously, he was ace ahah; and he gave us a great tour of the place and had some really inspirational things to say.
Here's Sam!

Sam lifting Nadia up ahah!

They were showing us how they make sounds and other things and the machines and computers used to make them.

After Hot 97 we headed to the Empire State Building, bought our tickets and had an amazing time looking at the view. WOW, it's amazing up there....but bear in mind, a hat and a hood is a necessity!

Amazing view!

Chrysler building

Autumn and Jen :)

I did get some photos while it was dark, but I'll put them up in a general post when I've covered all of the days!

I'll be updating you on NY again over the next couple of days!

Has anyone been to NY?

New York: Part 1

Here's a post about New York...I've called it part one because I can't fit everything into one post, so there will probably be around three of them..I wanted to let you know all about it!

So, we left Hull and midnight on Monday 4th/Tuesday 5th February. We arrived at Heathrow Airport, looking half dead (literally, lack of sleep, thirst and hunger...) at around 04:30 in the morning. Checked in, and then had a couple of hours to ourselves. I took the time to buy a magazine for the plane (Empire-film geek :P), a breakfast bar and a bottle of water, and then a few of us looked around some shops before boarding the plane.
Now, I hate flying, so much but there were films to watch so it made it better. I watched 'Perks of being a wallflower' (really good film!), read Empire and tried to sleep...although by now excitement had taken over all our bodies and we couldn't sleep.
We arrived to a VERY cold -5 oc, sunny looking NEW YORK. It was amazing! I think everyone was in shock and amazement, and on the coach to our hotel, we sang Alicia Keys 'New York' ahahah.

We had an hour and half to ourselves to go and get food, so me, Jen, Autumn, Hollie and Becky hit was so nice, and the coke was hugeeee, perfect for me! After this, we all went back, freshened up...I made my face look better with makeup (definitely needed) and we headed out to Times Square.
I spotted a Red Lobster there! (ignore the man ahah)

Random snap shot

Walking into Times Square!

Spotted: Wallgreens

Times Square is amazing. It was packed, but we loved everything about it, so we visited it a few more times. Definitely a must see!

NYPD...Nadia, Mel, Sarah and Jazz

Disney shop AND Forever and my friend Autumn were SO excited when we spotted them!!

After walking around for a bit, we all headed to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner...I had a bbq pulled pork sandwich with fries-it was gorgeous!

And then, we went back to the hotel and collapsed on our beds ahah!
I'll post about the next two days tomorrow!

Hope you enjoyed reading :')

Apologies for the lack of New York posts I said I would do. Don't worry, I am doing them, but there is so much to say and I want to make sure everything is included. I have been coming up with ideas for the next few posts, and they should be quite good!
I have been busy getting into my normal routine, and then valentines day came so my boyfriend was at mine and he stayed over, so I spent yesterday with him as well; so I've been really busy! Tonight I'm at a meal for one of my friend's 18th and then my best friend was 18 the other day, so we're doing pre-drinks at hers and then hitting Spiders (one of the best places for a night out in Hull!) and planning on becoming drunken messes and having a great night! aha!
This means tonight I can't do a post, however, worry not-tomorrow one of the NY posts will be up. I hope you enjoy reading it.

What did you do for Valentines day?

Thank you for reading!

Home Sweet Home!

Hey everybody!
so, I'm back home, in good old Hull after been away almost a week in New York. WOW, it was soooo good!
I loved it there, however, I'm a Yorkshire girl at heart, so I did really miss home and by the fourth day I wanted nothing more than to see my family and sleep in my own bed! However, it was something I'm glad I did, and I'd go back there with my family anytime.
It's so breathtaking, and the views are fantastic. I literally couldn't believe I was there until the third day (it's unbelievable!)
We did so many things, so I'm just going to quickly mention them for now, I will do a better post in the next few days including pictures and more details. So, we went to Times Square (really busy), Empire State Bulding (great views!), IMAX cinema to see The Hobbit; Shopping shopping shopping; NBC studio tour (Justin Bieber was in the same building as I was...just saying ;P); Hot 97 radio tour; Brooklyn Bridge and some other things. Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the Statue of Liberty as Staten Island is closed for two years due to Hurricane Sandy (GUTTED). I really enjoyed everything, but one of the best things was visiting the World Trade Centre and the 9/11 memorial site. It's strange being there, I couldn't really believe that I was stood there. There are the names of everyone they know who died engraved around the side of the pools and I just stood and thought about how awful that day must have been. It's quite emotional, but all part of the NYC experience I think.

I know I've crammed a lot into this post, but I will explain in more detail over the next few days, and post some of my pictures (I went snap happy over there ;) ) and I'll show you my NYC experiences!

I hope you've all had a great week!
What are you all planning to do over the holiday?

Short, snappy post here!
So, on Monday I'm going to be leaving my home in Hull for a few days, and heading down to Heathrow airport where I'll be catching a flight to...NEW YORK!!!! aaaaah eipfheofn, SO excited!
This is part of a Film and Media trip with college, and I cannot wait to go. I'm so excited for everything we'll be doing, visiting NBC, going to radio stations, cinema, Film museums....and SHOPPING.
I'll be taking part in many activities, and everyday we have the chance of some free time, such as choosing where we eat every night-which is great because me and my friends want to eat at Hard rock cafe, Planet Hollywood (so nice) and Bubba gumps(the coconut shrimp has my name on it!), so that should be great.
I'll be seeing the Statue of Liberty, Empire state building and ground Zero, and this will be so interesting, looking forward to it.
and the shopping. Yes then. I can't wait to stroll down 5th avenue, pick up some pieces from Victoria's Secret and so many other places. It's going to be amazing.
I just thought I'd let you know, because you might wonder why I wont be posting anything...don't worry, I'll have SO much to blog about when I get back. I can't wait to share with you what I've bought and what it was like there.

Have you been to NY? would you like to go?

Goodbye for now (unless I post tomorrow :P )
Have a great week!

To buy or not to buy...

Hey girls!
So, I've recently seen and read a number of reviews around a certain product I'd never heard about. I've read so much about them, that I fell I need to see what the fuss is all about. The product......Lip scrubs from Lush. They come in three different 'flavours'; Mint choc chip, Bubblegum and popcorn. Just that one fact about them makes me want them!
I also love the packaging:
Bubblegum....Looks so nice!

This will smell sooo nice!

I've heard they make your lips really soft and smooth, which is what I'm always looking for to be honest. Now, I'll admit, I'm a vaseline girl all the way, but these have seriously caught my eye!
Some people have complainted at the price, but I think £5.25 a decent price personally because the tubs are quite big, so I'll definitely be buying! I think I may buy one of each...they all sound and look so nice, I can't resist!

Have you tried these? What did you think of them?
Do you also want to try them?

My love for Front Cover

Hi everybody, I just thought I'd share with you some make-up I have, which I just love. This is my second set of this exact same piece, and I just think it's amazing! It's a Front Cover set, and it has some lovely colours in it. It's a set with eye-shadows:

Apologies for the bad photo!
This is the front cover, which I love, because when you move it, the images changes and it shows you another style of make up. Lovely!

Here are the colours. (this set has been used, so sorry for it not been really clean...I like to show I've actually used something)
I love how the first layer of colours are bright, and quite in your face, and the second layer has more natural colours with greens and browns.

Here is a selection of my personal faves from the set...

We have...
Magic banana (Centered at the side)
Upper row: Bracken// Ginger spice//Bayou//
Lower row: Stonewash//Chalk violet// Mermaid

I have some great ideas for my blog for the next few days, I'm just making some alterations on some ideas, but apart from that, I'm going to be busy blogging over these next few days. I hope you don't mind this boring post-I promise tomorrow's will be much better!

New found love

I have recently come across some new clothing websites I'd never heard of before, and  thought I'd share with you some of the things which have caught my eye. I've now got even more things I'm wanting, so I really need to save!

Firstly, was the blog I found the first website from. is the website, and there are some amazing pieces on here! My particular faves:

This is such a lovely dress-really summery and just perfect for a day of shopping, and catching up with the girls. I think the pattern is beautiful and I love the simplicity and how it looks quite girly. And of course the favourite colour. I love pastel colours, so this is just a complete winner for me!

I know you're thinking 'why is she showing us a bra?', well, why am I? Because I personally think it's lovely. It's so delicate looking, and the mint-green colour just works so well with it. I also like the lace on the bra, it makes them really pretty.

I'm obsessed with buying denim jackets-I'm not even lying, I collect them ;P so naturally I was drawn to this little beauty. Such nice detailing, and it makes a nice difference to the same ones everyone is wearing!

Okay, the colour got me first, and then the skinny-ness. I love a nice, really skinny pair of jeans, and this colour will be lovely in the summer. so tempting!

This is just gorgeous, I feel like no explanation is needed her. Beaut!

How nice are they though? unique and interesting, lovely pastel colour and high-my idea of perfection.

Oh my, how divine! The colour is soo nice, the heel-no explaining and the bow, so lovely. I would deffo buy a pair!

How nice are those shorts?!? I just fell in love with them! they're so perfect, I really want a pair, and temptation is kicking in...I might actually have to purchase them!

The second website I've come across myself is:
Really good website, with some nice unique pieces. Here's what I've spotted:

Cute little bag! Really good for during the day, and the pattern is really nice!

Purse-simple, and plain, however, I like the button on the side, and it's a really good size.

This pattern is lovely! Perfect for the day or night, and it's really eye-catching too.

The third website is-
I'll admit, it's quite expensive, and there are some pieces that are just a big no for me. However, there are lots of pieces which I loved, and here they are:

This is just gorgeous! I love the worn look, and it works perfectly with this colour. Such a beautiful piece, and so unique and different to bags in the high street shops.

I love this. It's just so different, and it would look great with any outfit. Very tempting.

Love dungarees, and these just shout Channy! so girly and feminine, really nice.

I'm loving the flowers on these, really nice detailing and they'd be great for a picnic I think.

Earphones. Can we take a minute to examine how amazing these are? I am deffo purchasing some of these, they look fab and they're blue, so a must have for me!

How cosy does this look. Lovely :)

Okay, so these are just amazing, right? so cosy looking...I really want some!

This dress is gorgeous. I love the victorian style at the top, and how girly this is. So pretty!

These shoes are beautiful. They need no explanation, they are so nice.

so there we have it!
what websites do you shop from?
